Interscope artist Charles Hamilton is doing a bit virtual touring via a group of hip-hop and urban music blogs with a little help from imeem. "The Hamiltonization Process" is a 3 month 8 site tour that begins today 9/2 on okayplayer.com and ends 12/9 on onsmash.com.
The goal is to reach the two million visitors the blogs can deliver rather than the thousands potentially going city to city. New music from Hamilton will be premiered exclusively on each site for two weeks using embedded imeem playlists. After the two weeks the music will be circulated to the other participants. Fans can use imeem's embeddable widgets to stream Hamilton's playlists on their own blogs and social networking profiles.
