With this rollercoaster we call an economy, any cost-effective break we Americans can get--we should definitely take. Enter this week's announcement by Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, that the company will be updating MacBooks and MacBook pros with state of the art features which will inlude thinner laptop cases and a multi-touch trackpad. But the real icing on the cake is when the CEO announced that Apple will lower the price of its entry-level MacBook from $1000 to $999. The sad thing is my pockets still aren't fat enough to afford this little luxury. Oh well, there's alway's Christmas, right?
